Furniture Mover

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:

• Ability to commute/relocate: Valdosta, GA 31602: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• Physically fit, can lift up to 75lbs, can stand/walk for up to 10hrs, be well groomed, have a good work ethic, and have great communication skills.
• Must be physically able to move furniture, appliances, and other household items
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying objects alone or in teams
• Must be able to wrap furniture using blankets, bands, and saran wrap
• Must be able to use tape, tape guns, paper, and moving boxes to wrap and pack fragile and delicate items
• Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack, truck lift gate, hand trucks, dollies, and other specialty equipment
• Previous mover experience is desired but not required
• A current driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
• Must have your own reliable transportation for travel to and from work

Salary:

$12.00 – $13.00 an hour
